Mission Statement

Interfaith Statewide Coalition

Mission Statement:

1) Leaders and members of diverse religions stand united for parents’ rights and religious rights in the state of California.

2) We oppose bullying, harassment or exploitation of any students in school regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, socio-economic status, sexual orientation or gender.

3) We desire education free from indoctrination and ideologies that attack religious faith, and family and religious values.

4) Parents should not be deceived. Changing laws and changing definitions that impact parents’ rights must be communicated and explained clearly. Schools must communicate forthrightly and never conceal any school-based activity from parents.

5) Schools must not partner with outside agencies (including but not limited to hotlines and medical organizations) without parents’ knowledge and consent.

6) Female or male identity is determined at conception and cannot be altered by chemical or surgical intervention. It is not and cannot be “assigned” by human beings. Forced speech, related to pronouns, is unconstitutional.

7) Children under the age of majority must never be subject to pornographic materials. School libraries, too, must not contain pornographic materials.

8) Sex education and HIV education promoting non-scientific ideologies or medically inaccurate (subjective) information must not be taught as fact.

9) Children must not be mixed with adults in person or online to discuss sensitive issues (sexual or otherwise) without parents’ knowledge and consent.

10) The modesty of girls and boys must be protected. Bathrooms, locker-rooms and competitive sports, must be kept separate. Fairness in competitive sports requires that male competitions be limited to biological males and that female competitions be limited to biological females.

11) We oppose union-monopolies and union abuse of power in public education.

12) We stand for School Choice. Every parent, regardless of socio-economic status, must be free to choose the best educational option for his or her child(ren).
