Children Mix with Nude Adults in Elementary School Books

These story books for children in our elementary schools is a form of sexual grooming.  Please see pictures from the book: The Rainbow Parade by Emily Neilson.

And The Big Bath House by Kyo Maclear and Gracey Zhang

The definition of sexual grooming children according to a 2015 federal appeals court opinion is “reduction of the child’s inhibitions in order to prepare the child for sexual activity.”

fact sheet from RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) also lists “grooming” activities— such as:

Desensitization to touch..... to introduce the idea of sexual contact.

Groomers seek to develop trust with children through gift giving and attention.

Groomers are usually not strangers.  More than 90% of abusers are people children know, love and trust. 30-40% of victims are abused by a family member. 50% are abused by someone outside of the family whom they know and trust.

Groomers attempt to make their victims feel they have a caring trusting relationship through "sharing secrets".  Isn't it interesting that  the on-line chat spaces given to students for a "safe, affirming space" assures kids of full confidentiality and secrecy from their parents? https://www.thetrevorproject.org/

Here's a picture of Trevor Project's "Quick Exit" escape button.  And one of the chat clubs in Trevor Space happens to be "Guilt and Secrets".
